Melting Pot - Tetra-Pak Printing Workshop

In this workshop, you will learn how to make printing blocks, engrave your design, then apply ink and print using a press.

The unique nature of the deconstructed packaging with its folds and creases can be incorporated into a design or separate motifs can be cut out of individual flat areas.

The workshop is suitable for all abilities, even if you think you can’t draw as pictures/ideas can be traced onto the Tetra Pak.

All tools and materials are provided but If you do have empty tetra pak containers do wash them out and bring them along and you can recycle them into your printing plates.

You will be using washable printing inks but it’s best to wear old clothes that you don’t mind if they get dirty. This workshop will be hosted by Stomping Ground.
